Shirlene Evans brings a powerful combination of strategic leadership, heart-centered coaching, and commitment to community engagement to her new role as Co-Director of the Seattle Office for Every Girl Shines. With nearly two decades of experience in consulting, nonprofit strategy, and leadership development, she’s known for helping young women lead with confidence, clarity, and purpose. Shirlene is always on the lookout for people to support and mentor, because that kind of connection matters.
As the Founder of M.E. Solutions and a certified career coach, she helps individuals, and the organizations they lead, align talent with mission and potential. Shirlene advocates for underrepresented voices, leverages her expertise to cultivate transformative programs, foster partnerships, and nurture the next generation of leaders. She mentors up to three individuals annually in STEM fields to support their professional development. The support may include designing data internships, fostering relationships, developing leadership skills, and forming supportive networks. Maya Angelou’s quote embodies her leadership: “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
