Daytona Beach SHINES at Bethune Cookman University

This summer, our bright Daytona Beach Stars kicked off their summer sessions with an unforgettable adventure—a college tour and empowerment experience at Bethune-Cookman University!

For the first time ever, our incredible founder, Carrisa Jones, joined the girls on the journey, making it even more special. Together, they explored the beautiful campus, soaking in the rich legacy of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune and imagining what’s possible for their own futures.

The day wasn’t just about touring—it was about shining light on their path. During the Shining Light on Your Path event, the girls dove into a powerful finance workshop and heard from the Director of the Center for Career Success.

From money moves to career goals, our Stars walked away inspired, equipped, and ready to shine even brighter. What a way to launch our summer!
