Carrisa Jones
Founder & Executive Director
Carrisa Jones is a Human Resources professional with 15+ years of experience in tech and mobile communications. She has expertise in fostering connection, community and culture programs, as well as sourcing and recruiting candidates from underrepresented groups. Carrisa is passionate about cultivating a work environment where everyone feels welcomed, respected, supported, and has a sense of belonging.
She is the recipient of the inaugural Women in Technology (WIT) Volunteer of the Year Award in 2017, 2019 Slalom Mogul Award, 2021 inaugural Slalom Build Global Humanitarian Award and the 2021 Slalom Build People First Award and Team Freestyle Award.
In addition to her professional work, Carrisa is also the founder of two nonprofits: Every Girl Shines, which pairs middle and high school girls with professional women mentors, and PHS 1996 Alumni Foundation, which provides scholarships to graduating seniors at her alma mater, Palatka High School.
Carrisa also enjoys volunteering with Women in Technology, SHRM Atlanta, High-Tech Ministries, 48in48, and Elizabeth Baptist Church. She is an avid Atlanta sports fan, cyclist, cruise vacationer and she is learning Spanish.
